Full Form of ITI

Full Form of ITI is Industrial Training Institute. These are the institutes which provide training to students in the technical field who are 10th pass out and constituted under Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGET), Union Government of India.

There are many ITIs in all over India, including Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat and many more. The main reason behind the establishment of ITI institutes was to provide technical manpower to industries. The other main objective was aimed to help students with self employment. Till now government has established more than 1800 ITI centres all across India.
